Nutrition and the Media

“The food you eat can be either the safest and most powerful form of medicine or the slowest form of poison.” ― Ann Wigmore.

Foods that are high in saturated fats, toxic additives such as MSG, preservatives and overly processed wheat and dairy have shown to have carcinogenic consequences. This basically means they can cause cancer in high doses. *

Other chronic diseases such as heart and liver disease can also be directly correlated to poor nutrition. **

Yet even with this knowledge readily available, our grocery stores are filled with refined sugar and simple carbohydrates that provide us with little nutrition. Not only are these processed foods depriving us of important vitamins and minerals, they also could be causing chronic diseases.

It is long term marketing, advertising and media that have resulted in these “bad foods” becoming so popular. Thus, it is marketing and media that must undo this and promote healthy eating and healthy lifestyle choices. Qerac believes in a world where people nourish their bodies instead of punishing them with unhealthy food. We want to help healthcare companies and nutritionists promote this message. So please get in contact with us and help us to help you, to help the citizens of Australia and the world.
